Cough
  • Add one spoon of honey in a cup of warm milk, then drink it slowly.

Acidity

Acne
  • Crush 2 or more cloves of garlic and apply it to the affected areas two times a day.
  • Apply toothpaste to your acne spot before retiring to bed. This is believed to help manage the swelling overnight. Just make sure that it is not the gel tooth paste but the paste.
  • Use a salt solution with warm water to wash your face two times a day i.e. morning and evening. This will remove the excess oil from your face making it safe from acne occurrence.
  • Regular take of cucumber helps in normal digestion of food in the body, it should help reduce acne breakouts.
  • Apply fresh lemon juice varied with rose water in your face; leave it there for 15 minutes. A continuous application of this for fifteen days will give you astonishing results.
  • Aloe vera helps in healing of acne spots.
Dry Lips
  • Apply a paste of rose petals with milk on the dry lips is very effective way to cure dry lips.
  • Apply cucumber juice over the lips and after about 20 minutes wash it off.
  • Drink plenty of water or eight to ten glasses per day is the key to have well functioning body and also having a glowing skin and lips.
  • Applying ghee or butter on the dry lips will help in making the lips soft and pink.
Anemia
  • Follow the famous saying that "an apple a day keeps a doctor away". Apple is rich in iron content and there fore it is quite helpful in substituting iron in the body.
  • People who suffer from anemia recommend regular sun bath because this will help to stimulate red blood cells.
  • Take beets juice regularly. Its juice is rich in minerals like sulphur, iron, calcium and iodine. It is also very helpful in substituting various vitamins like thiamine (vitamin B1), riboflavin (vitamin B2), ascorbic acid (vitamin C) etc.
  • Honey, apple cider vinegar and lemon have proved to be beneficial for anemic patients when consumed early morning empty stomach.
High Blood Pressure
  • Lime water more then 5 times in a day helps in preventing hypertension.
  • Garlic and Amla are very effective in decreasing the hypertension.
  • Dried seeds of watermelon and khus-khus (cus-cus grass) are to be taken and crushed. It is then consumed empty stomach twice daily with water.
  • Leaves of tulsi and neem two in number are to be consumed empty stomach to get relieve from high blood pressure.
Piles
  • Figs soaked overnight in water when consumed empty stomach in morning helps in relieving from piles.
  • Seed of mango in powder form when consumed with two grams ofhoney is also an effective way to get relief from piles.
  • Eating radish with black salt is very effective method of treating piles.
  • Consuming juice of freshly derived karela leaves is a nice way to avoid piles when taken every morning.
Stress
  • If you feel that your stress level is increasing, then got to your kitchen and take some ajwain seeds in your hands and smell this seeds. This will help in bringing the stress levels down.
  • Eating sunflower seeds and sprouts is also effective in reducing stress.
  • Put one teaspoon of honey in warm water and drink this water.
  • Drinking one glass of warm milk before going to bed will also be effective in reducing the stress levels.
  • Eat home cooked simple food with vegetables and fruits. Yogurt is also very effective in the treatment of stress. Hence eat one bowl of yogurt on a daily basis.
